Copying the MBROLA Bin and Databases
(If your current connection to the MBROLA project is weak, you may want to switch to any of our MIRROR SITES).Installation and usage of MBROLA.
1)Getting the MBROLA binary
Choose the binary file for your OS :
(Mac users : see also the MBROLA-MAC web page!
If your system is not listed here, contact : mbrola.
2)Getting the MBROLA Voices 
Choose a language/voice to download
Click on the name to contact database provider
Samples to help you choose: 
AF AR BR BZ CR CZ DE EE EN ES FR GR HB HN HU JP MX NL PT RO SW US TR ID IT IN PL CA LT IR VZ IC MA LANB: All the databases we distribute on the Mbrola primary site (* Belgium *) now range from version 2.050 to 2.069. This should soon be the case for our mirrors, too. As a result, they are compatible with all mbrola binaries with versions 2.06 or older.
In case you have a mbrola binary < 2.060 you should download the bin upgrade. In case you have a database with version < 2.050 (see the first 10 bytes of the file), you should download the database upgrade. If you don't want to download a database upgrade, you can still get previous versions of mbrola from our Primary MBROLA FTP SITE
